  • @mgmail7279
    @mgmail7279 2 месяца назад

    At minute 19 and a bit beyond. One of the unspoken types of exclusion is that of a woman who does not have children - even if it is NOT by choice, which is more often the case due to illness and other tragic circumstances. Women without children are a non-entity in society, invisible, expected to do the work of those with children, expected to pay more taxes for other's children's schools and other needs, expected to not get the seats they pay for, the table they reserved, or anything. Parenthood trumps all. Also, the media's constant use of the completely misleading phrases such as "As a mother" or "As a parent" - comments that ridiculously imply that 1) the person speaking before having a child hadn't a normal human feelings or capacity. They just magically sprung up with birth. 2) That those without children do not have human feelings (e.g. "As a mother, I think the death of this child is horrible." You mean those without children don't feel the same horror?? Or that ALL mothers feel it. My mother did not want me and did not care about others as much as I do, so the assumption that every mother is automatically caring and loving perpetuates child abuse as a child can't speak up if the reply is "oh not your mother. Mothers love their children." This needs to end, especially as the numbers of adults without children is growing rapidly. Every human is different. Some without children are good some bad. Same for parents: some are good, some are horrible (read the news) and in both categories the range of people is all over. The childless just don't matter, as he says here about other groups that are "othered".

    Robert, the DSMV is a eugenicists bible. A Nazis instructional manual used to commodify people and their pain. An excuse for oppression and exploitation of anyone not fitting the States label which strips people of the their liberties using a definition. The bigger that bigger is, the more scape goats the State has when they crack down. Why the fuck do you think it's main function in society is founded on legal parameters? That book, is a list of conditions brought on by poverty. That is why liberal State education and media ONLY fund genetic research and only support Darwinian pseudo science--research is "invalid" if it doesn't fit the capitalist systems narrative. Why would they sanction scientific facts that would undermine the entire financial basis of the mental health sector? That "book" is literally Hitlers wet dream and a direct product of fascism. Only State Humans need apply, but as far for the rest of you that suffered the consequences of our lies, it get's the black bag if you at all have the wits about you still to fight back. As Kolk said, at best "a list of symptoms" and as he makes evident, if matters where those symptoms have found their origin. Lamark was dominantly right--this "social Darwinism" is capitalist hijacked science. A propaganda campaign by the ruling elites, an attempt to show zero culpability for our social systems ills, that is used to criminalize poverty until death--and often enough, far worse. Its NOT a scientific debate. You libs wanna solve the "gun problem"? look at yourselves in the mirror and repeat after me "I am a liberal. I am a Capitalist. The social systems I benefit from are the social systems that result in the pain, exploitation, enslavement and deaths of the majority of humanity. Capitalism is evil but it is MY EVIL! I AM GUILTY!" I wasn't able to be on live with this call, but I wish I could have asked if there is a way to lessen disenfranchised grief. I finally realized that I will never get my mother's love - or even have her like or care about me. The loss of the dream of having a mother after decades of hoping for it is horrible. Yet, I can't explain it to anyone as most people - fueled by endemic media messages - assume ALL mothers are loving and caring, not abusive and cruel as mine is. So I have to grieve the loss of my dream (and of a mother for whom I did so much for over the decades), yet I will never get the sympathy or understanding from others. I will never get a funeral or other rite to process the grief. I just have to disengage by myself and never get to say goodbye or even grieve. What do we do when there is disenfranchised grief?
